Our Ways ii (Giclee print)

Part of Emma’s ongoing ‘Love & Ways’ series, the original works were created during Lockdown 3.0 January 2021. A Pandemic set on keeping us apart and in invisible cages, a barrage of news that vaults us between hope and fear and to top it off, short, cold, and often stormy days. I heard somewhere that a ‘soft heart and a strong backbone’ were needed to get us through times like that, so I wanted to try and capture this idea in these drawings. They are an expression of the thing that can never be taken from us; our inner spirit and how we choose to live inside.
